Pace’s MS in Financial Operations and Technology from the Lubin School of Business is targeted toward students who have an interest in technology and a desire to enter the world of operational finance, as well as students with an undergraduate or graduate background in general business who wish to learn more about technology to bring their business skills to bear on the implementation of IT-based solutions to finance problems.

You’ll learn the skills ideal for jobs related to the development and marketing of financial products and solutions that have a strong technological component, such as securities trading, portfolio management, banking, payment services, credit services, and insurance. And you’ll do so at our strategic location in New York City’s financial district, gaining an insider’s view of the financial world from its very center.

Curriculum

The program’s curriculum is thoughtfully designed for you to learn the basics of finance, investment management and corporate financial management, financial products, and the operation of financial markets. Through engaging coursework, students acquire skills that are key in understanding how new financial products are integrated into organizations–the marketing of these new IT-based products, the management of technology, and the impact of these new products in the valuation of firms.

Our MS in Financial Operations and Technology program culminates in a case-based capstone course that examines how financial products have been and can be used in different organizations.     • If you have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above for all of your undergraduate work, and you hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, you will be considered for admission to any MBA or MS program without submitting a GMAT or GRE score.
    • If you are an MBA applicant who already holds a business-related master's or doctoral degree, you may request a waiver of the GMAT or GRE.
